When should I start puppy training? 

The earlier the better! Puppies are cotinually learning from the moment they come home, early training can really help to build good habits and increased confidence.

Do you only work with young puppies? 

No, I can also help older puppies and early adolescent dogs. The kinds of behaviours I can assist with may include loose-lead walking, recall training and maintaining calm focus.

Do you cover villages around Cambridge and Ely? 

Yes! I work with owners across Cambridgeshire and Ely including the surrounding villages. If you're unsure if I cover your area, get in touch.

What training methods do you use? 

I have a keen interest in learning theory, and the biological basis of behaviour more broadly, I have guest lectured on this! I use only evidence-based, reward-based training and always maintain clear communication, enhancing confidence building and increasing long-term success.

What if my puppy is nervous? 

This is more common than you may realise, and with my vast theoretical, academic and experienced-based background I can guide you and your puppy in confidence building training exercises and programmes.

What age can puppies have 1-2-1 sessions? 

As soon as your puppy comes home!

Do you help with puppy biting and mouthing? 

Absolutely! This is something 99.9% of puppy owners face, and I have many tools in the training box to help you navigate this.

What breeds do you work with? 

All breeds! No two breeds, and no two puppies, are the same, and I work WITH you and your puppy to establish a trusting and 2-way relationship. The advantage of 1-2-1 sessions over group classes is the personalised, bespoke service, tailored purely to your puppy, and your lifestyle.

Can my children be included in the 1-2-1 sessions?

Absolutely! I always advise that all household members are involved in the training we do. Very young children may find an hour of training a lot to take on, however I have found most families very much benefit from being involved in the sessions.
